Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

ALLI Foundation is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for all visitors and apply relevant accessibility standards wherever possible.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

Measures We Have Taken

  • All images include descriptive alternative text
  • The website is fully navigable by keyboard alone
  • Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA standards throughout
  • Form fields are correctly labelled for screen reader compatibility
  • The site uses semantic HTML to aid assistive technologies
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Focus indicators are clearly visible for keyboard navigation
  • ARIA landmarks are used to structure page regions

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet fully conform:

  • Some third-party payment processing components (Stripe) are maintained by external providers and may have their own accessibility implementations
  • Older PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully screen-reader compatible; we are working to remediate these
  • Embedded video content may not have captions in all instances; we are adding captions progressively

We are actively working to address all known limitations. If you encounter a specific accessibility barrier, please contact us and we will prioritise a fix.

Compatible Technologies

This website has been tested and is compatible with:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest two versions each)
  • Zoom tools: Browser zoom up to 200%
  • Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking
