What This Grant Covers
- Course fees for fashion design, textiles, and creative arts programmes
- Specialist tools, materials, sewing equipment, and software licences
- Portfolio development, photography, and presentation costs
- Work experience placement and internship-related expenses
- Industry events, networking, and trade show attendance
- Brand launch and e-commerce setup support
Eligibility Criteria
- Aged between 16 and 21
- Receiving little or no financial support from family
- Committed to pursuing fashion/creative career
- Working closely with support services
- Normally resident in the UK
How the Application Works

- 2Include a portfolio, mood board, or evidence of your creative work where possible
- 3Our team assesses your application against eligibility criteria and financial need
- 4Grants are released within 4–6 weeks and can be paid to suppliers or educational institutions directly

Yes. Self-taught creatives with a clear goal and evidence of their work are very much encouraged to apply.
Is there support for starting a fashion brand or small creative business?
Startup costs for creative businesses - including website setup, materials, and small equipment - may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Can I apply for an internship or work experience placement?
Yes. Costs associated with accessing an unpaid internship or work experience in the creative industries are eligible.
What if I am still at school or college?
Students in full-time education who meet the age and eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for course-related costs.
